Farm History
Farm History
For over 100 years, our family has been caring for the same stretch of land, passing it down through four generations. This deep connection to our roots makes us more than just farmers—it makes us storytellers, caretakers, and proud stewards of a rich farming tradition.
Fisher Creek Farms began back in 1908 as a humble family homestead, complete with cows, pigs, chickens, and of course, a few farm cats keeping things lively. Over the years, our chickens grew into a large-scale operation with nearly 1,000 birds, providing fresh eggs to our community through a local egg route—a beloved tradition at the time.
As the farm evolved, so did our focus. Later generations transitioned to raising cash crops and hogs on pasture, always keeping the heart of family farming alive (with the ever-faithful farm dogs and cats by our side).
Today, we’ve come full circle. On the same original homestead, we’re raising goats and chickens once again, alongside our dedicated Livestock Guardian Dogs who keep our animals safe. Every day, we strive to honor our past while building a future—continuing the work our family began over a century ago.
We’re passionate about farming, family, and sharing this way of life with others. Thank you for visiting Fisher Creek Farms—where history, heart, and hard work meet.
